Leader of
British 'Dads Army' Discusses Group's Rapid Rise,
Upcoming Plans
Matt O'Connor, leader of the British
"Dads' Army"
Fathers 4 Justice --whose spectacular acts of civil
disobedience have garnered international
attention--discussed his group's rapid rise and its
upcoming plans Also joining Glenn was Pat
Lyons, a courageous English businessman who has vowed
that he will go to jail rather than pay the Child
Support Agency on behalf of employees who are being
denied access to their children.
From storming the High Court in London's
Family Division to shutting down the "UK's worst family
court" in Plymouth County to its famous "Don't Kill
Father Christmas" invasion and occupation of the Lord
Chancellor's Department last December,
Fathers 4 Justice is fighting the greatest single
human rights violation of our time--the way decent,
loving fathers are being driven out of the lives of the
children who love them and need them.
Vowing to "make the injustice visible,"
Fathers 4 Justice leader Matt O'Connor has pledged
that the group will head north to Scotland and create a
"summer of discontent" in which its members wreak havoc
on the unjust family court system through "nonviolent,
direct civil action against institutions."
